IT Services:

Availability

Comsec Services technicians are available 24 hours a day. 

We do however prefer to work on an appointment basis with standard support hours between 8 am and 5:00 pm. 

Of course, in the event of an urgent system problem that requires an onsite visit, we can generally respond within 4 hours.

 

Rates

 
The rates specified below relate to standard business hours, which are 8am to 5:00pm.  These rates apply to standard Windows desktop and server work.  For other services, please give us a call.

On-site services: $120 per hour, minimum 1 hour.  Additional time is billed in 15-minute increments.  Discounted day rates are available by negotiation.

For out of hours work, the rate is $165 per hour.  Public holiday rates are $220 per hour.  We generally work on a 'return to base' basis during these times.

Regular scheduled services: We can establish a regular service schedule for you whereby our engineers will visit your site on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis. The purpose of these visits is to carry out proactive maintenance work, upgrades, providing advice, and other technical assistance.

Remote services: $40 per 15 minutes or part thereof.  Although our focus is on providing on-site services our staff may in some instances provide technical support and consulting services by telephone or email, or remote administration of your computer systems.

Travel time: We base our travel charges on Transperth's public transport zones:

  • Zone 1 - no charge
  • Zone 2 - $20
  • Zone 3 - $40
  • Zone 4 - $60
  • Zone 5 - $80

Outside of zone 5 travel will be billed on negotiation with the client.

Please note that when we are working with a customer we will often switch the mobile off to allow us to concentrate on the job at hand.  We will call you back as soon as practical after finishing any appointment which is in progress at the time we receive your message.
